UPMC Cole welcomes pediatrician Nitin Kumar, MD, to the pediatrics team.
Dr. Kumar earned his medical degree at King George's Medical University, India, and he completed his residency in pediatrics at Case Western Medical University – MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Kumar is a member of American Academy of Pediatrics.
“As a pediatrician, I focus on helping children and their parents or caregivers grow, develop, and stay well,” said Dr. Kumar. “I believe in wholistic approach to child health– physical, environmental, and emotional health – taking into consideration all the factors that contribute to their health and wellness.”
Dr. Kumar will see patients at UPMC Cole, 1001 E. 2nd Street, Coudersport, as well as the UPMC Cole Port Allegany Community Health Center, 45 Pine Street, Port Allegany.
